I am SO glad that someone else get's it!!! These days we're losing more and more of the youth leagues here in CT and most of the schools are cutting back. These kids need to be outside enjoying the good weather and being active, just like we were when we were kids. I've watched some of the local kids sit at home with their video games and computers, no interest in a real activity! Now, I'm a personal trainer and have my own training facility in CT, and see ADULTS who didn't have opportunities to maintain a healthy level of activity over the years. Now look at them. Not to mention, you're absolutely right, the individual players get overlooked, while the "team" is the winner. Let's see some actual practice for the big picture, becoming a better player, not just winning the one big game! I'd like to direct my clients to this! Good info, thanks! Feel free to visit our website, you are always welcome! www.horizonpt.com Keep up the great work! I've read your blog before, the new site looks great!

Also check out Jamie's TED prize talk. He is passionate and inspirational and although I hear that he has met with some resistance, I do believe he is doing a good thing. I will check out the show.

Like the short note and could not agree more, many people tend to think that just walking on bus stop more a day and swapping from full fat to skimmed milk will make them slim and shift all these extra pounds. On the other hand yes these are the small things which may make the difference between someone who is at normal weight and someone who gains weight.
