Melinda Beck in the WSJ reviews a new book by Dr. Louis J. Aronne called “the Skinny: On losing weight without being Hungry.”
I haven’t read the book yet, but from what Beck writes, it looks pretty worthwhile.
[Dr Aronne] makes the best case yet why what you eat and when you eat it can make a big difference in appetite, satiety and how much willpower it takes to cut down. “It’s true that a calorie is a calorie,” Dr. Aronne says. “But what that doesn’t take into account is how some calories affect what people eat later on.”
